The Division was established in 1993.

In 1997 our first graduates obtained state certificates on the specialty "translator/interpreter in the sphere of professional communication".

Since 2000 graduates of the Division have been awarded State Diploma for the second higher education on the specialty "translator/interpreter in the sphere of professional communication".

Nowadays at the Division there are more than 200 students from different faculties of the Kuban State University and of other higher education institutions.

In addition to English/German practicals and seminars on Professionally Oriented Translation students are delivered lectures on Speech Culture Basics, Language Theories, Theory of Translatology, Historiography and Business Communication.

The duration of study at the Division is 3.5/4.5 years according to each student's Entry Test results.
